Let's start off by saying we officially we have 2 two year olds and a five year old in our house! Where do I begin.... the last post was dated May so I will play catch up from there.
June- Bryon and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and I turned 30 at the end of the month. Rest of it is a blur :)
July- Mid July Bryon and I had the opportunity to sneek away to San Diego for a few days of much needed relaxation. We relaxed on the beach for the most part but we also went for walks, bike rides, played games, and ate the largest ice cream cone I have even seen. It did feel very strange getting ready for the beach and not bringing a ton of stuff with us. With three kids and the boys allergies, we always have to pack a lot of stuff. We came back refreshed and got ready to celebrate K's 2nd birthday! She wanted a "Let It Go" party aka Frozen. We kept the party very small so she could enjoy her special day and not get overwhelmed. She had a blast and did so well! We feel very lucky to have been able to celebrate her special day with her.
August- Back to school already! Calvin started Aug. 4 at his new preschool. It is a 4 day program for 3 hours each day and he is loving it! We get to load the little ones in the stroller and walk to school every day. It is still pretty hot but luckily it is a short walk. The first week of school ended by Calvin bringing in birthday treats for his classmates. His actual birthday fell on a Saturday so we did a family party that same day. He requested a Minion themed party and a bounce house with a water slide. It was a lot of fun and even the "big" boys joined in on the water slide fun. I can't believe next week is the last week of August already.
Just a quick update on the kids:
K is doing well. She is getting some services now and we are learning a lot about sensory play. The messier things seem to be a huge hit with everyone. She is a happy girl and we love seeing all of her funny facial expressions.
Caden- He is talking and talking, he is still limited, however, we are thrilled with his progress! We have been waiting to hear him talk for so long. He received his second set of ear tubes and had his adnoids out back in April and the doctor told us it could take up to 6 months for Caden to process everything and start talking more. He had hearing loss for almost his whole life and it is so amazing to hear him talk even though he gets SO embarrassed when doing so. He is one bashful kid, which makes him even cuter :)
Calvin- He is such a ham! He is quick on his feet and says some of the funniest things. Calvin is getting into Legos and is very creative with them. He is also into the tablet and Clash of Clans game Bryon and Grandpa Bewley play, well all of the Bewley boys are playing it now.
