And the season has started! Calvin is having a blast on his soccer team, the Raiders. There are six kids per team and his team has three girls and three boys. The league plays three on three and does not keep track of the score. It has been so much fun watching him and his team play. There are a lot of funny moments during the games.
The whole family came out to cheer for Calvin in his first game. We got a huge surprise that morning when Uncle Kevin showed up at the field. Calvin even scored his first goal!
Calvin is very good at protecting the goal. He doesn't mind getting on the ground at all :)
The third week, Calvin's team faced the green team and although there was one player on the other team who kind of took over the game, Calvin showed great sportsmanship. He took the ball down the field and showed great control of the ball.
As the Raiders are entering week four of the season, they are having more and more fun as they get to know each other. Go Raiders!!
