We finally made it to the doctor for Caden's 9 month check up and all is well with our happy little guy. He weighed 20.4 lbs and his height was 27.5 inches. He is growing so quickly. After being on antibiotics for 20 days, Caden finally kicked his ear infection. We have one more week to be ear infection free or we have to be referred to the ENT. He isn't sleeping well again so hopefully it is the four teeth he is trying to cut and not his ears again.
Big things this month for Caden:
* He is feeding himself puffs.
* Pulled himself to his knees and is now pulling up to stand on anything and everything possible!
* Went to the park to play for the first time.
* Got his first little black and blue mark....one of many to come.
* Went to the Phoenix Zoo for the 1st time.
* Said Da-da
Things he doesn't like:
* green veggies- he will gag and throw up if not mixed with a fruit.
* Getting a diaper change once he spots his bottle that is waiting for him.
* Gets frustrated when he is tired of standing and can't figure out how to get down.
* When his binkie goes missing!
Caden loves Calvin and they have a great time playing "chase" around the house. Calvin zooms by Caden in one of his ride-on toys and Caden squeals in delight. Caden turns himself around and starts crawling after Calvin again. This can go of for quite some time....
Caden loves to explore around the house, especially if a bathroom door is open. We now have a new rule in our house to make sure Caden is safe. :) He loves to give kisses. And JUST like his older brother loves to chew on his crib. We had to do the same set up with blankets along the side rails and a teething panel across the front.
We finally got a warm day and did Caden's 9 month pictures with awesome police car I found at a moms' club sale. At the bottom is a short montage of the rest of the month's pictures.
(This did not make the final cut but his face is too funny. Elvis in a police car.)

He is so cute!! Love the red hair. Great photographs.
